If a book’s released in the woods…

Self publishing’s not exactly difficult nowadays. Anyone can do it. Which is great for the aspiring author. I can throw my debut novel, SubSuper, out into the world and anyone on the internet has the ability to find it.

Self publishing’s not exactly difficult nowadays. Anyone can do it. Which makes it difficult for the aspiring author to stand out amidst the sea of new releases from anyone and everyone who wants to make their book public.

As of now, not a soul has read my book except for myself. None of those I approached as beta readers. Not even my editor, the co-creator of the story.

I don’t expect this to change anytime soon. One debut novel out of a supposed future series from an untested author is not exactly an enticing offering.

For now, the story’s mere existence is enough for me. But I do hope that one day it resonates with someone.

If you’re feeling adventurous, take a chance on SubSuper.
